Everyone knows Denver has amazing natural sights to see, but there’s also an exploding EDM scene in the city waiting to be explored.

The Mile High City really has it all; great food, hiking trails, snow sports, hot springs just a jump away, and now a thriving EDM scene. The popularity of EDM venues in Denver has grown so much over the years that it’s put Denver on the map not just as a place you might be able to find a nightclub, but as a full-fledged EDM destination. From outdoor stages, to intimate clubs, and even big summer festivals, EDM has a home in Denver.

Here are all the must-see venues in Denver to experience the best up-and-coming EDM acts and well-loved DJs, too. Whether it’s the venue with the best sound, post-show food, or comfiest layout, you’ll find it below.

Red Rocks Amphitheater

Just 16 kilometers west of Denver stands the Red Rocks Amphitheater, a venue as beautiful as it is acoustically impressive. The rock formations that give the venue its name (and, yes, they are red) also create nearly flawless natural acoustics. And a visit to Red Rocks is also a perfect opportunity to explore the nearby hiking trails-- so you can soak up the natural beauty before you head to the amphitheater to experience some of the top acts to come through Denver.
