Car-Centric Sites
Lebanon’s biggest claim to fame is its location on Route 66 – and the town fully embraces that reputation. Start at the Route 66 Museum for a trip back in time to see antique cars, an old-school diner display and a 1950s gas station replica. Don’t miss the small shops and local diners nearby for an authentic taste of Route 66 history. If you can time your visit during June, you'll be able to take part in the annual Route 66 Festival. The vintage car show and evening concert are the highlights of the event, but there are also disc golf competitions, food trucks and a parade for attendees to enjoy. The car-centric fun of Lebanon doesn’t stop with Route 66. Catch some motorsports excitement at the paved Lebanon I-44 Speedway or the dirt track at Lebanon Midway Speedway, where the roar of the engines is sure to get your heart racing.
Outdoor Must-Visits
Any of Lebanon's eight parks are well worth a visit. At Route 66-themed Boswell Park, little ones can enjoy a playground and rock-climbing wall, while Atchley Park is equally well-suited for peaceful walks along the tree-lined path and high-octane games of disc golf. Take a short drive just outside town to visit Bennett Spring State Park for fishing, hiking, camping, floating and more amid majestic scenery. Wake up early for a morning of fishing in the spring, which is restocked daily with rainbow trout. If you'd prefer to stay on land, take to the park’s verdant hiking trails instead, stopping to soak in the views of the emerald springs.
Downtown Delights
If you're in search of that hometown feel, you'll find it in Downtown Lebanon. Visit the newly revitalized city center to socialize with the locals and get a taste of Lebanon's modern spirit. Blossoming with boutiques, restaurants, bakeries and a brewery, this historic heart of town is a thriving hub for local businesses that can’t be missed. Visit Lebanon during the holidays to see Downtown come alive with twinkling lights, a lighted UTV parade and more during the annual Christmas on Commercial celebration – which includes a visit with Santa Claus.
Fun Fact

Bennett Spring State Park flows out nearly 400 million liters of water each day.
